چکیده
The current study focuses on the effect of Acrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA)/Nanosilica (Si) modified binders complex modulus (G*) and rutting resistance parameters (G*/ sinδ) Asphalt Cement (AC). Four different blends including base binder polymer nanocomposites which were formed by blending 5% ASA to with addition nanosilica at 3, 5 7% weight subject investigations. Conventional Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) testing procedures conducted as well morphology analysis using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). rheological characteristics AC analysed master curves, isochronal plots parameter plots. Test results revealed that G* G*/ sinδ all samples significantly enhanced compared binder. Multiple Stress Creep Recovery (MSCRT) 100 Pa 3200 showed that, non-recoverable compliance was reduced elastic recovery improved. Optimum concentration found be ASA/Si composite, further nanocomposite resulted in lower enhancement properties due occurrence agglomeration between composite

Evaluation of the Mechanical Properties of the cement treated Cold-in-Place Recycled Asphalt Mixtures
Cold-in-place recycling (CIR) is an environmentally sustainable alternative for preservation of asphalt pavements. A major disadvantage of this practice is the lower strength of the cold-in-place mixtures. Addition of cement into this type of mixture is a method for increasing its bearing capacity. The effect of cement content on the mechanical properties of the cold-in-place recycled asphalt m...
متن کاملrutting performance of polypropylene modified asphalt concrete
rutting in asphalt concrete is a very common form of distress in asphalt concrete pavement which unfortunately has been incurable to date. one of the prime reasons of rutting is attributed to the behaviour of asphalt binder at elevated temperature. this study has investigated the performance of polypropylene fibres modified asphalt concrete mix against rutting. two types of asphalt concrete sam...
متن کاملPerformance Evaluation of Dynamic Modulus Predictive Models for Asphalt Mixtures
Dynamic modulus characterizes the viscoelastic behavior of asphalt materials and is the most important input parameter for design and rehabilitation of flexible pavements using Mechanistic–Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG). Laboratory determination of dynamic modulus is very expensive and time consuming. To overcome this challenge, several predictive models were developed to determine dyn...
